Curious by Nature
This great big circle quilt is a fun project that presents a few challenges.
Careful fabric selection makes it pop, so we will do a paste-up of the proposed top
before finalizing our fabrics. Additionally, directional fabrics need to be planned
carefully (or avoided if possible). Those curves are easier than they look because they are
big, and the top has only 32 pieces, so that’s the easy part! This class will be in two
sessions. The first will deal with fabric selection and planning; the second will deal with
construction of the quilt. This is a good class for intermediate to advanced quilters.
