Away We Go: Summer Sewing Camp for Kids Ages 9+!
Pack your bags and get ready for an adventure in sewing! Away We Go is a 5-day summer sewing camp designed for students ages 9 and up who want to learn the basics of machine sewing while creating fun and functional travel essentials—no experience or sewing machine needed!
Over the course of five days, campers will spend 3 hours each day learning:
-Sewing machine basics, including threading, stitching, and safety tips.
-How to sew a cozy pillowcase for sleepovers or long journeys.
-Crafting a comfy travel neck pillow for road trips or flights.
-Designing and stitching a custom tote bag to carry all their gear.
-Making a handy roll-up organizer for accessories and essentials.
-Creating a stylish zipper pouch to keep small items secure.
With step-by-step guidance, campers will build confidence in their sewing skills and leave with a collection of travel-ready projects they’ll be proud to show off.

Bringing your own machine is strongly encouraged as it helps each student learn the ins and outs of the machine they will be working on at home after camp. However if you don't have a machine we will be happy to provide one for camp. Please let us know at registration if you need to reserve a machine.

Studio Stitch will have kits available with supplies needed for $50.
