Free Motion Quilting Skills Building-Part One
Do you remember when you learned that your sewing machine could do free-motion
quilting? And then you sat down at your machine and thought to yourself, “Uhm, where
do I start?” Well, we have the right class for you! In this Free Motion Skills Building
Class, we get you started with enough basics that you will be ready to quilt your first
project by the end of the class. You will learn designs for borders, sashings, and wide
open spaces. You will learn techniques for quilting table runners, wall hangings and
small quilts using your home sewing machine. Each lesson in this three-week course
focuses on a single “motion” that is then used as the foundation for several designs. At
the end of three weeks, you will have a bucket full of ideas for all of your summer and
fall projects. This course is designed for beginners who have free-motion quilting
modes on their home machines.
